Începem anul 2025 cu un volum de poeme scris de poetul, criticul și universitarul Toma Grigorie, ale cărui poeme au fost traduse de Ruxandra Dodoiu, absolventă a Masteratului pentru Traducerea Textului Literar Contemporan și doctorandă în Filologie. El face parte din seria de volume traduse și publicate în ediție bilingvă de către masteranzi la editura online a Universității din București, Contemporary Literature Press.
              Când am înființat această editură, simțeam îndoiala din privirile celor cu care discutam: „O editură de computer?” Spre mirarea celor care aveau îndoieli, editura este acum o editură pentru toate continentele. Ea permite descărcarea gratuită a tuturor volumelor. Internetul este marele miracol al intelectualului contemporan. De curând, am avut surpriza să regăsesc volume ale noastre preluate de foarte cunoscutul site https://archive.org/, pe care eu însămi l–am folosit atunci când îmi lipseau cărți de care aveam nevoie.
              Spun aceste lucruri pentru a dovedi colegilor mei mai tineri că „omul sfințește locul”: dacă au dorința să publice, Contemporary Literature Press îi așteaptă cu brațele deschise—și cu îndemnul de a începe prin a traduce scriitorii români contemporani lor.

              The year 2025 begins for us with the publication of a book of poetry by Toma Grigorie, translated into English by Ruxandra Dodoiu, who graduated from the MA Programme for the Translation of the Contemporary Literary Text. This is one of the books that have been translated by graduate students for the online publishing house of the University of Bucharest, Contemporary Literature Press.
              When I founded this publishing house, many people were sceptical: "A publishing house located in a computer?" Nobody expected this publishing house to reach several continents, but it did. It is easy to download its books. It is free of charge. The internet is a miracle for most contemporary intellectuals. A short while ago, I was surprised to find many of our volumes hosted by the very well–known site https://archive.org/. I had used it myself for books I could not reach otherwise.
              I am saying all this because I hope to persuade my younger colleagues to join us. If they really want to work, translate and publish, Contemporary Literature Press is the place, and I advise them to begin by translating the Romanian writers contemporary to them.
